Join Louisiana writer and journalist Luce Tremblay-Gaudette as she discusses her first novel, Les Jours Delta.

Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Luce Tremblay-Gaudette has lived in Baton Rouge since 2021. She studied and practiced photography, journalism and screenplay writing. She is also a singer-songwriter and a podcast producer.

Les Jours Delta (Delta Days in English) is a fictional account of a group of neighbors in Baton Rouge preparing for a possible hurricane. Written in standard French and published in Louisiana by Les Éditions Tintamarre, this novel is inspired by the author's first experience with a hurricane. Even though the characters in this book can never fully trust the weather, one thing remains certain: everyone must find support to weather the storm.
