Spirit, let's hear it, library lovers! We invite you to come out for our second annual Spirit Week in celebration of National Library Week, April 6-12, 2025.  This year's theme is "Drawn to the Library," and we have a "palette" of art-inspired fun planned for you!

Friday, April 11: Favorite Color Day

Whatever draws you in, the library has something for everyone.  Whether your go-to library item is books, DVDs, video games, hotspots, or something else, Lafourche Parish Public Library has resources & inspiration to fuel every passion.  Find your favorite thing @ your library.

How to Celebrate Favorite Day:

  • Wear:  Wear your favorite color from head to toe today in honor of the thousands of people who have found their favorite thing @ our libraries!
  • Do:  Visit the library today to earn a bonus entry into our prize drawing for some of our favorite LPPL swag items.
  • Share:  "What favorite thing draws you to the library the most?" (Share with us in-branch or on social media!)
  • Check-Out:  Check out your favorite library thing to earn today's themed button!
  • Win:  Enter your name into our LPPL Swag Prize drawing by visiting the library today.


Bayou Blue, Choctaw, Gheens, & Raceland will celebrate Favorite Color Day on Monday, April 14.
