Spirit, let's hear it, library lovers! We invite you to come out for our second annual Spirit Week in celebration of National Library Week, April 6-12, 2025.  This year's theme is "Drawn to the Library," and we have a "palette" of art-inspired fun planned for you!

Monday, April 7:  Library Colors Day

Millions of people across the country visit their libraries every week.  What's the draw?  Everything!  Whether you visit the library to find a good book or film, learn a new art skill, utilize the Internet, or more, libraries help us connect the dots from one part of our journey to the next.

How to Celebrate Library Colors Day:

  • Wear:  Wear library colors (blue & green) today in honor of the multitude of services & resources that your Lafourche Parish Public Library offers to its community.
  • Do:  Feeling "drawn" to the library today?  Pick up a free pencil while you are here!
  • Share:  "Of all of the services & resources offered by LPPL, which do you love the most?" (Share with us in-branch or on social media!)
  • Check-Out:  Check out more than one item from our vast collection to earn today's themed button.
  • Win:  Enter your name into our LPPL Swag Prize drawing by visiting the library today.
