Spirit, let's hear it, library lovers! We invite you to come out for our second annual Spirit Week in celebration of National Library Week, April 6-12, 2025. This year's theme is "Drawn to the Library," and we have a "palette" of art-inspired fun planned for you!
Thursday, April 10: Tie-Dye Day
If we had to guess, we would say that you have been a library lover for as long as you can remember. A love for reading, learning, & libraries often begins at a young age, & we are thrilled that so many of you have been loyal patrons of our library system - choosing us over & over again - throughout the years.
How to Celebrate Tie-Dye Day:
- Wear: Wear tie-dye today in celebration of Throwback Thursday and LPPL's many years of service to its community throughout the decades!
- Do: Preserve a library memory by snapping a photo with our jumbo library card today when you visit us.
- Share: "What's an item that you never would have thought that libraries would check out, but now do?" (Share with us in-branch or on social media!)
- Check-Out: Check out an item that is nostalgic to you to earn today's themed button!
- Win: Enter your name into our LPPL Swag Prize drawing by visiting the library today.
